E is for… Ego
Arnav paused on his way to his room and scowled. The giggles coming from NK’s room were a sure sign that Khushi was visiting again. She claimed to come over to see Payal but it seemed to him at least that she spent more time with NK than anyone else. Arnav began towards his room again when one voice stopped giggling and began singing.
It’s too big, it’s too wide
It’s too strong, it won’t fit
It’s too much, it’s too tough
Before the last line had been sung Arnav stormed into the room. ‘What the…?’
Khushi was stood on the bed her arms held up in the middle of a dance move while NK sat on the sofa looking up at her adoringly. She quickly hurried down from the bed and began smoothing down her dress.
‘Khushi what the hell were you just singing?’
‘Erm… I…’ Khushi looked at NK nervously, hoping he would save her since her mind had gone blank at the sight of Arnav.
‘Ego by Beyonce, Nanav you must have heard of it. I played it for Khushiji and she loves it!’
Arnav ignored NK and walked closer to Khushi, lowering his voice so NK couldn’t hear what was being said. ‘Do you even know what those lyrics mean Khushi?’
Khushi’s eyes squinted and she shook her head lightly.
‘Think about it Khushi.’
As if on cue, Khushi’s mouth opened in shock and her eyes widened.
‘You don’t want to be singing that song to NK. Trust me. Although… you can sing it for me anytime you like,’ Arnav added with a smirk before he walked backwards out of the room, singing as he went.
He talk like this ‘cause he can back it up
He got a big ego, such a huge ego
You love his big ego
NK quickly shut the door behind Arnav and sighed in relief. ‘He didn’t realise you were singing about him did he?’

D is for… Damn It!
‘Damn it!’ Arnav dropped the nail and sucked his thumb, trying to ease some of the pain. It was the third time in the last hour he had hurt himself but he refused to accept defeat.
Khushi and Di would laugh at him now after the speech he had given about being able to put together a simple crib without any help.
He took a deep calming breath and read the instructions once again. It had looked so simple at the beginning but the wood and nails in front of him were nowhere nearer looking like a crib than they had been two hours ago.
He would probably still be trying to put it together when Khushi gave birth in a month’s time.
‘Damn it!’ He sighed and shook his head. Useless as they would undoubtedly be, he needed their help. Three heads were better than one right?
‘NK! Akash!’

C is for… Colour
Arnav smiled as he disentangled his black silk shirt from where it had caught onto an embellishment on Khushi’s turquoise and pink anarkali.
Di had once accused him of having a wardrobe full of black but nothing could be further from the truth now.
The large wardrobe was now bursting with colour: reds, greens, yellows, purple and blues sparkled and shimmered in the light shoving and pushing for space against an ever diminishing army of black, navy blue and grey.
Khushi had filled his previously grey existence with a riot of colours, making every day more beautiful than the last.

B is for… Bikini
‘Arnavji, what is this?’ Khushi held up the offending item between her thumb and forefinger.
‘It’s a bikini Khushi,’ Arnav replied without looking up from his book. ‘For the beach.’
‘You want me to wear this? In public? Hai Devi Maiyya, I might as well go out in my underwear!’
Arnav rolled his eyes; immune to Khushi’s dramatics after almost a year of marriage.
‘You want me to wear this… thing in front of other people, other men? No, I refuse!’ Khushi threw the bikini at Arnav and began to storm out but was caught before she reached the door and spun back into his arms.
‘Whoa! Who said anything about other men? Nobody is going to be looking at my wife in her underwear… I mean in a bikini! I booked a private beach, Khushi. Just you… and me.’
‘Oh… I see. Well that’s… I guess that’s… okay then.’

A is for… Automatic
‘It’s red!’
‘Very observant.’
‘Can we go for a drive?’
‘I was hoping you’d say that.’
The engine roared as Arnav accelerated out of the gates and onto the long road that connected their house to the rest of Delhi.
Khushi examined the smooth leather interiors carefully for faults in case her usually shrewd husband had been extorted by a cunning salesman.
‘Notice anything?’
Khushi felt his hand land on her knee, heavy and warm through the fabric and she looked up at him in surprise.
‘It’s automatic!’
‘Very observant,’ Arnav replied huskily as he began to caress her thigh.
Anonymous asked: hey, I was just going through your posts and im not complaining but by the looks off it you seem to be going off the show coz you've been making so many posts on what needs to be improved in the show and when asked if you want any romance you said it doesn't bother you anymore so clearly your losing interest in the show? if yes, why would you still keep this page and continue making posts and writing ff's? not saying that I don't like your work, I LOVE it! oh and im not bashing, just wondering..
It’s no secret that I’m not as interested in the show as I was before although I do still like it but I’m also really busy in real life as well now so even my personal Tumblr gets updated once every few weeks or so.
The romance not bothering me is just because I’m not as invested in it as I used to be. I also want Arnav and Khushi to talk and sort out their problems properly before jumping into romantic situations.
If you follow my FFs you’ll know I began to slowly end them all a long time ago and have just one more left go. I do still write though because I always promised I would never leave my stories unfinished and I like writing the characters as they were originally envisioned and presented to me. That enjoyment hasn’t gone away just because the characters on the show have changed.

Okay guys seriously just because the majority of IPKKND fans on Tumblr are more rational and forgiving of the makers of the show does not make you any better than fans on India Forums.
Both sites and members have their good and bad points. Think about it in terms of proportion. There’s maybe at most 50 to 100 IPKKND fans on Tumblr compared to over 1000 on IF, therefore the proportion of crazy to normal fans will obviously seem skewed in the favour of Tumblr.
Also any fans have the right to complain or praise the show, it does not make them any less of a fan than you just because you ‘have faith in the CVs and will support IPKKND fiveever’ while they’re accepting that although they love the show there are things they would personally change and tweeting GH unflattering things about the show.
That’s just how social media works. Along with praise you have to be prepared to accept and deal with criticism, both of the constructive and unconstructive type.
Just my personal opinion and you probably think it’s not my place to say it at all but the rampant “OMG IF fans are the worst. Tumblr fans are sooo much better” that is all over the IPKKND tag is getting annoying.

Random!
-Why does Arnav not touch Babuji’s feet with Khushi but only Buaji’s?
-Notice how Akash has gone from saying ‘Khushiji’ to just ‘Khushi’.
-Arnav and Khushi are both so bipolar. It makes the transition to comedy scenes easier for the writers I suppose but their feelings about each other and the situations they’re in are always so inconsistent.
-I’m still waiting for the day when Arnav will do something really bad (the things he’s done before like mention her parents and wish he’d never met her were bad enough in my opinion) that Khushi actually holds a grudge against him. Otherwise I think we’ll never move on properly from this phase of their relationship that they’ve been stuck in for over a year.
-I’m liking Payal more now since she didn’t back away from Khushi just because Akash is being a dick again. I get his point, but you’d think he would have learnt to listen to his wife and have a mature conversation after the Bubbly incident.
-NK is still one of the best things that happened to this show.
-Where is Mamaji?! Is he ever going to come back?
-Even after seeing the consequences of keeping secrets once why isn’t Khushi telling her family about Shyam being revealed? What purpose does she think it serves?
-I don’t hate Anjali. She’s always been very dependent on Arnav and Shyam so at least she’s being consistent.

But I'm not sure if that's true or not. Another thing is that Anjali will probably turn onto Khushi for Shyam divorcing her. But when I was watching, the papers that Shyam signed weren't divorce papers. I am so confused. So, that means that Anjali will tell Arnav that Khushi was deceiving both of them... I am so confused...
Shyam did sign some papers which were divorce papers but he also signed some papers transferring everything back to Anjali. I’m not sure about the validity of any of the papers though.
